Thomas Nast Santa Claus Reindeer Sleigh Christmas Antique Art Print 1885

  
Wonderful antique 19th Century engraving comes from a rare illustrated American newspaper and art journal printed in 1885. , by THOMAS NAST and is in very good condition. There is a tiny closed binding tear on the center fold line on the outer right hand border but this does not affect the image and could be covered when framing. I attached a photo with a close up of this.

There is a small black line over Santa's sleigh which looks like something which happened many years ago when this was printed in 1885. This blends in well with the dark tones and would be hard to notice when framed. Engraving is very suitable for framing and measures. There is printing on the reverse side which would be covered when framed.
