Very Large Hanna Barbera Production Animation Cel with Background from 1977 "A Flintstone Christmas" Size: 35.5" x 13.5" This sale is for an oversized hand painted Hanna Barbera Animation Cel (and background) of Santa's Sleigh being pulled by reindeer. Also included is some xeroxed notes related to paint colors. This is from the 1977 animated special "A Flintstone Christmas".

Both the cel and the background are hand painted. This set measures approximately 35.5" x 13.5".

I had another cel very similar to this one, with slightly different colors, so I suspect that they were used as color checks. The cel is in great condition. It has been stored carefully. The only thing I notice are some small xerographic lines on the back reindeer right above their leash lines.

They is not really noticeable from a distance but you can see them in the pictures. Overall, a really great unique piece from the hand painted animation era. My mother worked in the animation industry Disney, Hanna Barbera, Bakshi...

For decades and collected many items. This is from her collection.
