Antique Vintage Paper Mache German Santa + Sleigh Driven by Paper Mache Reindeer
The Santa & Sleigh being pulled by a Paper Mache Reindeer. The Santa is made of either paper mache or composition and has a hand painted face with a rabbit fur beard and moustache. The Santa is large and glued to the mica snow covered sleigh.
The Santa is approx 4" long to the hood and approx 3-3/4" tall to the hood. In the back of the sleigh decorations or treats can be stored and it is marked Germany on the bottom. The Reindeer is approx 4-1/4 long without the reins in the measurement. The reins hook to the front of the sleigh and I took several pictures of the age lines on the sleigh these are inside and underside not outside.
The Reindeer has been repainted as someone had sanded him and one antler is a replacement. Check out my other Christmas decorations.
