Antique Litho On Wood Santa On Sleigh With Reindeer German Bliss Type Toy Decor
Up for sale is this very unusual Santa on a sleigh with Reindeer pulling it. It is lithograph on wood in the style of Bliss or early German blocks or toys. It does have legitimate age though. Unfortunately with age it has acquired quite a bit of damage and wear. Most notably: many crack lines in reindeer some just to the paper some through a layer of wood, loss near the rear hoof, separating between some of the wood plies, damage to bottom of Santa he was attached with nails poking up through cross supports in the sleigh, crack line through Santas beard which goes through first layer of wood.
Shows other wear, scratches, dings, dust. Measures about 21 long (chains fully extended) 5 1/8 across sleigh, 10 3/4 to Top of Santa. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
