Vintage Whirligig Whirly Gig Santa Claus Sleigh Reindeer Fun Old Primitive VGC

  
Very neat vintage Santa Claus & Reindeer whirligig on stand. This is a cool old chippy primitive Christmas decoration. I made the stand & propeller for it.

The old propeller was in bad shape and I didn't ever intend to put it outside again, so made the base. The base comes with two additional pieces of metal tube so you have three height choices. The base tube is permanent in the white part. The mechanism works when the propeller turns.

The sleigh rocks and the reindeer rocks too. Reindeer has a jingle bell around his neck. Santa is holding a lace for the reins. The whirligig is in pretty good overall condition. Some minor chipping to old paint.

The unit itself measures 15" long and the propeller is 16 1/2" in diameter. As pictured, with one section of tube, it is 20 high.

Each additional tube section is 7 long. Two of the last pictures show it with one additional section of tube in stand. Check out the pictures and feel free to ask any questions!
