You are LOOKING at a FABULOUS VINTAGE GERMAN PAPER MACHE SANTA in PAPER & WOOD. THIS SLED MEASURES ABOUT 14 INCHES LONG X 6 INCHES HIGH.
THE SLED IS DECORATED WITH VINTAGE PERIOD PRINCESS PINE, WRAPPED PACKAGES AND ACCENT PIECES. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THE SANTA IS A GERMAN MADE CANDY CONTAINER. THE SANTA IS NOT SIGNED (SO BE THE FINAL JUDGE) BUT THAT IS COMMON FOR THESE ITEMS. THIS HAS BEEN IN MY PERSONAL COLLECTION FOR OVER 30 YEARS. I SEE NO MAJOR ISSUES WITH THIS PIECE, ITS NOT PRFECT BUT IN EXCELENT VINTAGE ALMOST 100 YEAR OLD CONDITION!
