Vintage German Christmas Advent Calendar. This beautiful advent calendar is extraordinary. This piece is completed with cross stitch embroidery. There are loops for days 1 - 24.

It is customary in Germany to attach pieces of candy to the loops. As Christmas approaches, you remove a piece of candy for each day in the month of December. The number 24 is a little larger than the other numbers. The advent calendar features hand embroidered and printed designs.

The combination creates a unique look. A lovely cabin is nestled in the woods surrounded by snow covered trees. A reindeer is pulling Santa and his sleigh.

The moon and stars are in the sky above. I love the little bird. The fabric is a beige heavyweight fabric. There is a pocket at the top of this piece so that you can insert a rod. A rod is not provided.

Just add a rod, and it will be ready to hang. This beautiful piece is quite large. The piece is 21 high.

The opening of the pocket for the rod is 1. This advent calendar is in excellent condition. Why not celebrate your German roots and celebrate the love of Christmas at the same time? It matches perfectly and would be an incredible set for your decor!
