The diorama depicts'Santa on the Night Before Christmas'! Celluloid figures fill the indent. Santa sitting in his sleigh. His sleigh is led by his reindeer. There is a white bottle brush sprig as well.

In the background is a snow covered house... You can see the lights in the windows. There are evergreen trees on either side of the house. The background is painted Green which is a rare color.

The night sky is filled with Stars. How does Santa Claus do it? In one long night, a stout and elderly man, equipped with a magic sleigh and eight flying reindeer. Delivers toys to children in every household all over the world.

Maybe a little Christmas magic. Santa is more than up to the challenge. We have to believe in him. This ornament is a really beautiful Christmas Diorama. Silver Ribbed design on the back.

Both sides of the indent are in very good vintage condition. There is oxidation near the pike and of the hanger. The ornament is 3" Wide x 3.5" Tall (these ornaments were made in two sizes this is the larger size).

Enlarge them to get a better idea of the condition of this ornament. This beautiful and RARE Italian Diorama is not new and has been used. It was manufactured in the 1950's. It will show signs of usage, storage and aging. There will be scratches, discolorations and oxidation of the paint.

The pike and hanger will also show signs of aging in the way of darkening/oxidation. This is expected in vintage Christmas Ornaments. There are no chips or cracks. The pike and hanger are in good condition.
