GERMAN 16 L SANTA BELSNICKLE TWO REINDEER SLEIGH PULLTOY work of Werner Brauer
German pull toy is being pulled by two reindeers on 16 mica wooden platform & metal wheels by. The sitting belsnickle has a beautifully face. He has mouth lines, and blue eyes. He is wearing a red colored felt robe with white faux fur trimmed hood and robe. His hands are very detailed, and one holds the feather branch, his boots are black, and he has a fu manchu mustache and beard.
He is a fixed to the seat of the wooden sled. Composition reindeers are solid prancing in two different directions. Their bodies are painted very well with great craftsmanship. The reindeers have large stable antlers, and leather collar with brass bell hanging from the bottom of their collars. Wooden golden and red trimmed sleigh painted with swirling leaves on each side.
The reindeers has their leather collar & connecting reins to sled & Santa. This was made with detail. The sleigh, and reindeer sit on a mica snow covered wooden platform with four metal wheels.This piece is a pristine contemporary work of. A wonderful contemporary piece for collectors.
