Porcelain with bright colors and gold accents, lots and lots of charming detail. This is a huge, heavy piece.

Cookie jar or not, I see this on a mantle out of the reach of small clumsy fingers. I have had this since the late 90s early 2000s. I did show setup work for various gift showrooms at the Chicago Merchandise Mart as an independent contractor. If there were enough orders generated they would put the item into production.

This piece was bought from the Christopher Radko showroom and I do no know it it was ever put into production. Many of the really large pieces were never produced because they were very expensive, even wholesale, and most stores having tight margins didnt want to take the risk.

I bought this piece to use in my decorating business. I took jobs decorating offices, small stores and private homes. I put it all up then went back and took it all down. Over the years I used the same pieces but in different locations with different arrangements.

I had a couple dozen themes. This piece was used in Old World displays and in Joyful Toys.

Everyone loved the bright blue sleigh because it was so different. It also gave me the opportunity to tie Christmas and Hanukkah together with the blue.

The only thing I felt was a bit tacky was that they made the antlers on the reindeer a pliable plastic rather than out of porcelain. I can see why they did it.

Im sure they would have broken but still it seems a bit off because the rest of the piece is such amazing quality. Look for them before you panic.

This is going to take a lot of bubble wrap and a huge box. I kept it in a 4 tote. Just FYI; I wrap everything in tissue then in bubble before storing.

In the event that any moisture gets in or heat/cold causes the plastic the expand/contract the paper wont damage the glaze whereas the plastic might. Paper that sticks can be taken off with water. I learned that lesson the hard way on a set of turtle doves, ruining my whole 12 days of Christmas set up. Dimensions: about 20 long, about 9 wide, just under 13 tall.
