Antique Vintage Cotton Batting Santas In Sleigh Pulled By 2 Celluloid Reindeer. This treasure belonged to my parents and probably dates back to the 1930's, but might date earlier. The base is thin wood with mica "snow".
The sleigh appears to be wood as well with mica snow. Santas have cotton batting hats and suits with chenille trim. Their boots are black wrapped wire.
Their beards and mittens are cotton, too. Their faces are hand painted clay composition. Celluloid deer are speckled with gold glitter. One has antlers, the other's are missing.
The reign is the original red satin ribbon. Base measures 2.5" x 12".Reindeer are 3 tall without antlers. The Santas are probably 4 tall. This is a rare Christmas delight.
