Antique Cast Iron Santa Claus Sleigh and Reindeer Toy Hubley
Bargain John's Antiques has been in business in the same location for 50 years. We specialize in American Antiques from 1840 to the 1920's. Quality that has been our mission statement since we began. This is an exceptional all original Hubley cast iron reindeer drawn sleigh toy that is all complete with Santa himself. Notice that the cast iron Santa even has movable arms!
The sleigh measures 15 long is to the top of the reindeer antlers is 6 1/2 high and is 3 1/2 wide. There is an impressed part number of 707 on the underside of the toy and one can find this toy in the antique reference book of OBriens Collecting Toys, the 10th Edition on page 144. The reindeer toy featured in the OBrien book has two reindeers, however the Hubley toy with only one reindeer is the harder one to find and thus has a higher value. We are thrilled to be able to offer this toy to you, and the exceptional original condition of this toy is remarkable!
