Antique Cast Iron Hubley SANTA CLAUS-Sleigh-Reindeer Pull TOY Original c1915 NR. Toy measures 17" long x 4" wide x 6 3/4 tall. Very nice Hubley cast iron Santa's Sleigh pull-toy. All original circa 1915, except the reigns have been replaced. When pushed or pulled the reindeer move and Santa bounces up and down in his seat (see video).
All examples we have seen of this toy have been either smaller in size, have different paint jobs or the Santa figure did not have the hole in his hands for the reigns. The movement of the toy is still very fluent and the action still works well. Minor age-related wear to the pain. The original reigns and pull string have been replaced.
The wheels on the sleigh and reindeer show minor wear. Please don't ask us to do so. Please note that we will need a street address (no PO Boxes). International Buyers - Please Note.
